This notice explains how AuraDailyNews treats the privacy of visitors under 18 who use the /dzieci and /mlodziez sections. It is aligned with GDPR (including Art. 8 for children), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (ICO), and the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Who can use the children's sections
The /dzieci (ages 8–12) and /mlodziez (ages 13–17) sections are free, anonymous and require no account. Account registration on the portal is available only to users aged 16 and over — in line with the Polish implementation of GDPR Art. 8.
What we do NOT collect
We collect no personal data from users of the children's sections. Specifically, we do not collect:
- name, surname, email, phone number, or home address;
- advertising identifiers or behavioural profiles;
- geolocation more precise than country (only used to pick language and currency).
What stays on your device (local storage)
In the visitor's browser we store: language preference, cookie consent, the fact that you've read this notice, and mini-game scores (e.g. Tornado Dodger high score). This data never leaves the user's device and is never sent to our servers.
Third-party content and links
The kids' sections may contain links and embedded content from third parties (NASA APOD, official Roblox docs, NOAA RSS, Wikipedia). Those sites have their own privacy policies. Parents are encouraged to review them and supervise their child's online activity.
Advertising
Today the kids' sections show no ads. Once advertising is enabled, these sections will be flagged as "Made for Kids" under the Google AdSense Families policy — meaning contextual ads only, no profiling, no cross-site tracking.
Comments and moderation
Comments under articles are available only to logged-in users aged 16+. Every comment passes automated AI moderation for hate speech, adult content and personal-data leaks before being published.
Parents' rights
